CVESD’s highest priority is the safety of our students, staff, and community. Our district has safety precautions for voters and poll workers visiting our school sites during elections. These precautions include:
- Access to the polling area will be restricted to authorized personnel and voters, with designated entry and exit points.
- To prevent overcrowding, we will manage the number of individuals in the polling area at any time.
- Adequate signage and personnel will help direct traffic flow and parking to minimize congestion.
- Our emergency response plan is in place, and our staff is trained to handle various emergencies.
- We will work closely with local law enforcement to address any issues promptly.
- Every effort will be made to place poll locations away from school offices, classrooms, and areas where students will be present.
We encourage all voters to participate in the democratic process and look forward to a smooth and secure process at our school sites. If you have additional questions, please contact our Safety Department or your school site.
