Board of Education Members are elected by the public during general elections and serve four-year terms. The Chula Vista Elementary School District Board of Education comprises five seats for which members are elected at large.
The Board usually convenes monthly meetings to conduct district business, hear from the public, and review various reports. The Board elects a President, Vice President, and Clerk at the organizational meeting held every December.
