Employees at CVESD have the opportunity for professional development, career advancement, and educator discounts. Below are a few of the programs we offer our employees:

CVESD's ASPIRE Teacher Residency Program at National University is tailored to prepare classroom teachers specifically for our district. Participants are eligible for a $40,000 stipend from the district, scholarships from National University, and a teaching position at CVESD.

CVESD hosts an annual cohort for our Aspiring Administrators Academy for teachers interested in obtaining a California Administrative Services Credential or earning a master’s degree in educational leadership to become school or district administrators.

CVESD has a doctoral degree cohort in collaboration with San Diego State University for educators interested in pursuing their doctoral degrees.
