How to Set Up Forgotten Password Help
Why do I need to do this?
If you forget your password, you'll receive a temporary password from PeopleSoft that will be sent to the email on file for you. Once you've set up your forgotten password help security question, you'll be able to use the forgot password link on the login page for PeopleSoft Employee Self Service.
1. After you've logged into PeopleSoft, select My Profile from the Main Menu tab (see example below).
2. On the General Profile Information page, select Change or set up forgotten password help link. You will then be prompted to select and answer a question. Click 'OK' to save your answer.
3. After you set up your security question and answer, scroll to the bottom of the page and check that your email address is correct. If not, update your email and click 'save' at the bottom of the page.
