Seamless Summer Feeding Option
The Chula Vista Elementary School District (CVESD), through funding provided by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), will offer free lunch and snacks to children and teens 18 years of age and younger during the summer break through the Seamless Summer Feeding Option Program (SSFO).
The program is designed to help ensure children continue to have access to nutritious meals while school is out of session. Meals will be available free of charge at the following locations:
City of Chula Vista Civic Center Library
365 F Street, Chula Vista, CA 91910
Dates: June 9 – June 30, 2026 (Monday–Friday)
(No service on June 19)
Lunch: 12 p.m. – 1 p.m.
Snack: 3 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
South Chula Vista Library
389 Orange Avenue, Chula Vista, CA 91910
Dates: June 9 – June 30, 2026 (Monday–Friday)
(No service on June 19)
Lunch: 12 p.m. – 1 p.m.
Snack: 3 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

In addition to these CVESD operated sites, free summer meal programs will be offered at other locations throughout California. Families can find additional meal sites in their area through the California Department of Education website.
