Integrated Pest Management Plan

Our goal for the implementation of the Integrated Pest Management Plan is to focus on long-term prevention or suppression of pests through accurate pest identification, frequent monitoring of pest presence, applying appropriate action levels, and making the habitat less conducive to pests using sanitation and mechanical and physical controls.

Annual Pesticide/Herbicide Notification

The California Education Code § 48980.3 requires all California school districts to notify parents and guardians of pesticides/herbicides they expect to apply during the year. The Chula Vista Elementary School District may use the listed pesticides/herbicides in the Annual Notification below.
