CVESD’s 2025–26 Teachers of the Year

CVESD’s 2025–26 Teachers of the Year

The Chula Vista Elementary School District (CVESD) is proud to honor the remarkable achievements and contributions of its educators through the 2025–26 Teacher of the Year recognition program. Each year, this program celebrates teachers who exemplify excellence in the classroom and demonstrate an unwavering commitment to student learning, growth, and success.

"Each of our nominees brings something truly special to their students, and we are honored to celebrate the meaningful impact they make across our district,” said Superintendent Eduardo Reyes, Ed.D.

This year, 34 schools submitted nominations, highlighting the innovation, creativity, and impact of our exceptional educators. A committee of educators and administrators evaluated nominees across multiple areas that reflect exemplary teaching.
CVESD proudly congratulates all nominees on this recognition. The top three teachers will be moving on to represent the district at the San Diego County Office of Education’s Teacher of the Year Awards.
