Chula Vista Hills Elementary Honored as a 2025-27 National PTA School of Excellence

The Chula Vista Elementary School District (CVESD) proudly congratulates Chula Vista Hills Elementary School’s Parent Teacher Association (PTA) on earning the 2025–2027 National PTA School of Excellence designation. This marks the school’s second consecutive designation period, following its recognition for 2023–2025.

The National PTA School of Excellence program recognizes PTAs and schools across the country that demonstrate a strong commitment to family engagement and meaningful collaboration. The designation reflects efforts to create welcoming environments, strengthen communication, encourage participation, and support positive educational experiences for students.

As part of the program, participating PTAs and school administrators complete a yearlong process focused on identifying opportunities for growth and strengthening practices that support students and families. The program is grounded in research showing the important role family engagement plays in student success and overall school performance.

At Chula Vista Hills Elementary, the PTA is an integral part of the school experience, working alongside staff to support students, connect families with the school, and contribute to a strong sense of belonging. Earning this recognition for a second consecutive designation period demonstrates that this commitment is not a one-time achievement, but an ongoing priority that continues to shape the experience of students and families.
