Open Enrollment for All New Students Is Here!
Open Enrollment for the 2026–27 school year at the Chula Vista Elementary School District (CVESD) is officially open for all new students. Families enrolling a new Transitional Kindergarten (TK) student, a Kindergarten student, or any new student entering CVESD can now begin the process at cvesd.org/enrollnow
To complete enrollment, families should have the following documents ready for upload:
- Birth certificate
- Updated immunization record
- Proof of residency
- Parent/guardian photo ID
Once your online application is submitted, school staff will review the documents and notify you when enrollment is finalized. If applications exceed the available space at a school, placement may be determined by lottery.
Eligibility Requirements:
- TK: Child must turn 4 on or before September 1, 2026
- Kindergarten: Child must turn 5 on or before September 1, 2026
