CVESD's 2025 Holiday Card Contest Winner
The Chula Vista Elementary School District (CVESD) is thrilled to announce the winners of the 2025-26 annual Holiday Card Contest. Participating students were asked to use their talent and creativity to create holiday card art using various artistic mediums.
CVESD congratulates Savanna Herrera, third-grade student at Joseph Casillas Elementary School, who was selected as the first-place winner. Savanna's artwork will be featured as the district's official 2025-26 greeting card for this holiday season and will receive a cash prize. We also extend our congratulations to our second-place winner, Marla Alonzo, from Loma Verde Elementary, and third-place winner, Gabriella Karako, from Olympic View Elementary.
This year we had 35 entries with participation from 21 school sites. Thank you to all participants including all the finalists:
