On December 14, the Chula Vista Elementary School District participated in the annual Chula Vista Starlight Parade. This year’s main float theme was Seas & Greetings, celebrating the sunny holidays Southern California is known for, and the Transportation Department transformed one of the school buses into a jolly Santa Claus. Swells of district students, families and staff participated, carrying glowing jellies, and sparkling fish—bringing waves of holiday spirit to the Chula Vista community.
