Transportation Safety Plan
The Chula Vista Elementary School District provides transportation for
Students who reside beyond walking distances to their school of residence.
Walking distances to a bus stop are:
- Kindergarten: three-fourths mile
- Grade one: one mile
- Grades two through three: one and one-fourth mile
- Grades four through six: one and one-half mile
The Superintendent or designee may authorize transportation within the minimum distance when special circumstances or hazards exist.
