Wellness Committee
The Wellness Committee welcomes participation from parents/guardians, students, community organizations, school board members, and school and district staff from child nutrition, physical education, school health, student services, and school administration. Height & Weight Surveillance Project
In 2010-11, the district undertook a landmark research project measuring the height and weight of more than 25,000 students. The alarming results prompted various changes, including a revised wellness policy.
