The Chula Vista Elementary School District (CVESD) is dedicated to fostering continuous learning, professional development, and career advancement through a variety of programs. From residency programs to educator discounts, employees have the opportunity to engage, learn, and grow at CVESD.

SDSU Doctoral Program

In collaboration with San Diego State University, CVESD has an annual doctoral degree cohort for educators interested in pursuing their doctoral degrees.

Early Childhood Grant for TK

For staff members aspiring to become transitional kindergarten or preschool teachers, CVESD has an Early Childhood Grant Program that covers tuition for prospective teachers in early childhood education. Space for this program is limited.
