Military Families
CVESD recognizes that military families face unique challenges related to school enrollment, transfers, placement, and graduation due to frequent relocating in service to our country. To ensure that our military families have the support they need, the schools with the highest enrollment of military-connected students have access to Military Family Life Counselors to help guide them and connect them to various resources available to them. The district also works directly with a naval base liaison officer to continue to develop ways to support our military families.
Naval Base San Diego School Liaison Officer
Naval Base San Diego School Liaison Officer for our school district is Chanin Massaglia. Chanin Supports and assists the unique lifestyle of the military and creates a connection between school districts, military installations, and military families.
