  Academic Opportunities

Writing Across the Curriculum
All students are developing authors at Chula Vista Hills! Teachers work together to prepare students as lifelong learners and writers.  Currently we use a number of resources to inspire the best writing, including The 6 Traits of Writing.  We help students to develop strong ideas and express themselves with an original voice and high level word choice.  To learn more about The 6 Traits of Writing visit culhamwriting.com.

GATE (Gifted and Talented Education)
 - The District is committed to enhancing the intellectual development of our students by providing opportunities for increased student learning. In addition to extension opportunities within the general education classroom, GATE students at Chula Vista Hills participate in dedicated extra curricular lessons and activities on an almost weekly basis.  Click here to learn more about our District's GATE structure.
