School Rules
|
We all strive toward creating the best learning atmosphere possible at Tiffany. Through the input of students, staff, and administrators, we have established rules to help ensure that everyone at Tiffany has a safe and positive environment in which to learn. Please review these rules with your child:
- Follow rules of any adult who works at Tiffany Elementary School.
- Treat others and their property with kindness and respect.
- Keep hands, feet, and other objects to yourself.
- Always walk, especially in the classroom, library, computer lab, and hallway.
- Raise your hand and wait to be recognized.
- There is no talking while traveling inside the school building and soft voices should be used during lunch.
- Be quiet during fire drills, tests, silent reading, when in line, or when someone is speaking.
- Cell phone use during school hours is not permitted. Cell phones should remain turned off and in student backpacks during school hours.
|
Dress Code
|
|
Tiffany Elementary School believes that appropriate dress and grooming contribute to a safe and productive learning environment. Students are expected to give proper attention to personal cleanliness and to wear clothing that is suitable for the school activities in which they participate. The following is the dress code for Tiffany School:
- T-shirts advertising alcoholic beverages, drugs, cigarettes,or inappropriate movies or TV shows are NOT to be worn during school. Muscle shirts are not to be worn. Tops cannot show midriff, have spaghetti straps, or be halter or tank tops.
-
Shoes cannot be open-toed, backless, or platform heeled.
-
Dangling jewelry can be dangerous and jewelry, in general, can be lost or damaged and therefore, should be worn at one’s own risk.
-
Pants may not sag.
-
Hats may not be worn in the classroom but may be worn as a sunblock for outdoor activities.
Please be aware of what your child is wearing before he or she leaves for school. Working together, we can create a productive and comfortable learning experience for our students. Thank you for your cooperation.
