UNIFORM POLICY FOR THE 2009-2010
REQUIRED SCHOOL UNIFORMS
At the request of many parents and with the support of Senate Bill 1269, the Chula Vista Elementary School District Board of Education approved the uniform policy at Loma Verde School. All students are required to wear blue and white uniforms to school daily. Many schools throughout the Chula Vista Elementary School District have noticed significant improvement in student performance, attendance, and behavior, along with a strong academic focus, serve to improve the learning environment and to enhance the safety of students during their crucial formative years. Uniforms reinforce the expectation that school is a work place for learning. Only white or green t-shirts with the Loma Verde School logo are permitted.
EL REGLAMENTO DEL USO DE UNIFORMES
Con el apoyo del Proyecto de Ley 1269 y peticion de muchos padres de familia, el Distrito Escolar de Chula Vista aprobó el uso del
uniforme en la Escuela Loma Verde. Todos los estudiantes deberan usar uniformes azul marino y blanco. Muchas escuelas del Distrito
Escolar de Chula Vista han notado que con el uso de uniformes, los estudiantes tienen un cambio significativo en el comportamiento de sus
obligaciones. Los uniformes olbligatorios junto con el enfoque academico ayudan a mejorar el ambiente educativo y a reforzar la seguridad de
los estudiantes durante sus años de formación academica. Los uniformes refuerzan que la escuela es un lugar de aprendizaje. Solo camisetas con el logo tipo de la Escuela Loma Verde serán permitidas.
ALLOWED CLOTHING (TOPS)
SHIRTS/BLOUSES – SOLID WHITE
green shirts with collars, such as polo shirts. Tops must be tucked in and must be plain or with school logo.
SWEATSHIRT - GRAY –WITH LOMA VERDE LOGO
Long pants – black or navy blue Fit at waist, hemmed or cuffed.
SKIRTS/DRESSES AND/OR SHORTS/SKORTS (Navy blue or black) Shorts must be above knee; no shorter than mid-thigh and worn at waist.
SHOES – Tennis Shoes/School Shoes
PRENDAS DE ROPA PERMITIDAS CAMISAS/BLUSAS – Blanca con manga y cuellos, camisas polo. Deben de usar las camisas/blusas por dentro del pantalon/falda. Pueden usar camisas/blusas con el signo de la escuela.
SUDADERAS – Azúl marino o verde oscuro Nada con letreros.
PANTALON LARGO (Azul marino o negro)
Los pantalones tienen que estar ajustados a la cintura y con bastilla.
