School Description
Liberty School opened its doors in July 2004 with just 300 students.  It has grown to currently house over 600 students.  Liberty is the 41st school in the Chula Vista Elementary School District, serving grades K-6 on a year-round schedule.  The school site has 32 classrooms, 8 resource rooms, a library, multipurpose room and an administration building.

Liberty School offers a rigorous instructional program based on the California State Standards.  Teachers regularly participate in professional development centered around effective teaching strategies.  The Liberty School community values diversity in all forms and is home to a Spanish Immersion program as well as four Special Education classes.
