Our Mission, Vision, and Values
At Feaster Charter School, students, parents, members of the faculty, and community members are committed to our common Vision.  Together, we value diversity and promote equity for all.  We take great pride in our school and strive always to create the best possible learning environment for our children.

Our mission is to provide a world-class education to all students.  We believe that every person has an innate desire to know and to understand, and that learning is the most important journey in every person's life.  The Feaster students and staff are committed to these principles which reflect America's best ideals:

Liberty -- the conviction that learning is the surest path to individual freedom

Equality -- the belief that every child should be given the same educational opportunities and that every child has a tremendous capacity for learning

The Individual -- the principle that each persons' character and individuality are to be not only respected but also celebrated

Community -- the idea that a school can and should be a center for people of all ages who seek kindred spirits, enlightenment, and recreation

Diversity -- the notion that respecting, celebrating, and learning from our differences is central to what ties us together

Joy -- the truth that a great school is a place that nurtures the creative spirit, prizes the beauty as much as the useful, and inculcates a love of learning
