On Monday, October 20, 2008, we started offering our yearly after school program for students in need of additional support in English Reading and Mathematics. We are currently working with students in grades 2 through 6. Classes are held on Monday’s and Wednesday’s from 3:15 PM to 4:30 PM. Our students, during MicroSociety, are raising money for the United Nations Children’s
Fund (UNICEF). The goal is to help 156 countries to provide health care, clean
water, nutrition and education to children and their families. Furthermore, to create an
awareness among our student population about the needs outside our own communities.
