Student Code of Dress
The following dress code is strongly recommended:

Boys -

Jeans, khaki, or other solid pants or shorts
solid polo or T-shirt (not tank top)
Casillas colors are red, navy, white and khaki
Close toed shoes - preferably tennis shoes that are laced and tied

Girls -

Jeans, shorts, or skirts - same color scheme as boys
sleeved solid polo or T-shirt (no spaghetti strap or midriff tops)
Close toed shoes - preferably tennis shoes that are laced and tied

The following should never be worn to school:

1. T-shirts with inappropriate language, or mature content (what may seem OK for a sixth grader is not OK for a first grade student - therefore shirts with ads, phrases, or slang expressions should not be worn).

2. Open toed shoes, sandals, flip flops

3. Hooped earrings - these are not safe on the playground. If the hoop is larger in diameter than your child's pinkie finger, it's too large. Earrings that dangle are also not appropriate to wear to school.

4. Expensive jewelry or items with strong sentimental value.

Students are encouraged to wear Casillas T-shirts or shirts with Casillas colors on Fridays to promote school spirit.
